The Tobago Conference is one of ten (10) Mission/Conference entities within the Caribbean Union, one of the 23 union conferences of the Inter-American Division, headquartered in Miami, United States of America. This structure ensures an awesome support mechanism for all avenues of the church’s work, such as education, members’ spiritual development, community outreach, and supporting church-approved causes.
Our History
The work of the church in the twin-island republic of Trinidad and Tobago started in 1863 and grew until 2003 when Tobago separated from the South Caribbean Conference to form the Tobago Mission. In 2023 Tobago officially became a Conference. The church has grown at a steady rate, with 32 churches and a membership of over 8,500. This means that one in eight people in Tobago is a member of our church.
